My Paintings

This beautiful little girl is Jillian, the granddaughter of Dennis Light, a firefighter with the Yuma Fire Department. I was commissioned to paint her from a Facebook picture I got off his photo album as a surprise for her grandmother. He surprised her, alright. The painting also won a blue ribbon, first place, at the Yuma County Fair last year in the Portrait division.

The adorable painting of the baby and mother is Kayla and Jarrod. They won me a Purple ribbon, Best of Show, in Portrait this year.

The next two paintings are my children. Adam is my younger son, and the gorgeous brunette is his bride, Diana. This painting, done in acrylic on canvas, won me a red ribbon, second place in portraits. The last painting is pastel on heavy, watercolor paper, and is Adam dressed up, ready for a 50s, sock hock with is sweetheart.

These are all fantastic. I love the baby and the mom. You've captured a moment in time and its precious.
